The Solution Account Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle at end-user level covering all of Germany, including identifying and closing new sales opportunities.

The Role

  • Preparing and presenting proposals, generating new business.
  • Selling gas detection solutions to customers in Germany
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Develop the customer base in order to meet sales forecasts and budgets
  • Increase and create sales leads across traditional sales, safety software, and Rental
  • Meet sales goals as set by management to maximize profit
  • Maintain a high level of vendor and product knowledge
  • Position the company’s suite of products for rental and safety software as a service
  • Maintain the company’s CRM System

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Gas detection experience is a plus
  • 5+ years of full-time work experience
  • 5+ years outside sales experience
  • Frequent travel required (>60%)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • 10+ years of residence in Germany
  • Previous experience of working in Europe
  • Computer literate
  • Results driven with a proven sales track record
  • Speaking French and/or any other European language is preferred but not required
