The Role:

  • Identifying and contacting potential customers, arranging client consultations, delivering product presentations utilizing the company sales materials, closing sales and winning new business.
  • Represent the company at organised events and exhibitions
  • Contribute to the development and publication of new promotional and marketing materials, geared towards increased sales and customer engagement.
  • Time and organisation: managing own diary, booking customer visits and meetings, manage a time and cost-effective schedule.
  • Developing relationships with existing customers, turning around underperforming accounts and reactivating stagnant (inactive) customers through relationship building and effective account management.
  • Identifying and contacting potential customers, arranging client consultations, delivering product presentations utilizing the company sales materials, closing sales and winning new business.
  • Team player who is capable of staff interaction and direct management of a large complex team
  • Capable of communicating successfully with senior contacts within the senior management team
  • Hunting new business initially and building relationships and sales revenue with existing accounts as the role develops.

 

The Candidate

  • We would expect the suitable candidate to have a minimum of 3 years’ industry experience in Workwear or PPE.
  • A demonstrable sales record in business development, winning new accounts and developing the sales and profitability of existing customers.
  • A strong technical knowledge of Workwear and corporate clothing products in the market
  • A verifiable track record of achieving and exceeding targets within distributors or end users
    Excellent time management, appointment co-ordination and client management;
  • Excellent man management skills.
  • Be computer literate – competent in a variety of software packages and have good all round IT knowledge
  • Demonstrable levels of success in delivering business objectives, international sales growth and profitability
  • Be well organised, thorough and with the ability to prioritise own workload and delegate effectively.
